Puri Balangan - Infinity pool views

Villa holidays are a great option for families, providing plenty of private and secure space for everyone, and giving guests the freedom to choose what they want to do and when they want to do it. Not having to worry about disturbing other guests is also a plus – creating a more relaxing time for parents and children too.

Puri Balangan - Children at the pool

Villa Puri Balangan is a wonderful choice for families with children. Thanks to the vast hillside garden surrounding the property, there’s plenty of room for kids to run around. The spacious infinity pool can be overlooked from any of the living areas and is perfect for children to splash around in.

The master bedroom’s annex is fitted with two additional single beds – great if you have smaller children. It also has a large private patio garden which can be closed off entirely to provide a safe space for smaller kids to play.

You don’t need to worry about packing lots of bulky children’s equipment. We’d be happy to hire any items on your behalf for the duration of your stay (click here to see a list of all available hire items).

The kitchen is fully equipped if you’d like to prepare baby meals or anything for a fussy eater yourself.

Villa Puri Balangan is located close to the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. Set in an old sandstone quarry, it boasts the second tallest statue in the world – taller than the Statue of Liberty –as well as a number of other colossal effigies that will impress young and old.

Balangan Beach and Dreamland Beach are only a fifteen-minute drive away, although bear in mind that the ocean swell may be too heavy for swimming.

Children will also love the cheeky macaque monkeys that have made their home in the stunning Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple. Not only are they notorious for stealing unsuspecting visitors’ valuables, they’ve also learnt the art of bartering their stolen goods for snacks. Aside from small-time criminals, they’re wild animals, so we’d advise you not to get too close.

Check out our things to do page for these and plenty of other activities in the Bukit peninsula that will keep the whole family entertained.
